Basei Mg coverage

Basei Mg is a foliar protection tool based on magnesium hydroxide (E528), fungicidal basic substance approved in the EU. Its concentrated suspension formulation creates a stable alkaline coating on the leaf, hindering the germination and development of surface fungi and reducing reliance on conventional fungicides.

Benefits

  • Fungicidal basic substance (E528): European regulatory endorsement as a plant protection product.
  • Contact and safety: Contact fungicidal action with a zero-day safety period and no residues of synthetic active substances. Suitable for intensive management strategies and demanding markets.
  • Reduction of copper and synthetic fungicides: A useful tool in programmes aiming to reduce the copper load and the number of chemical treatments is reduced to a minimum, maintaining the crop’s health.
  • Compatible with biocontrol programmes: It has a mild profile on the microbiome and auxiliary fauna and is suitable for integrated handling strategies.
