Seipasa, the Spanish company specialised in the development and formulation of bioinsecticides, biofungicides and biostimulants, has announced the certification of its products under the new UNE standard for their use in organic production.
On this occasion Seipasa has obtained UNE 142500 certification (inputs to be used in organic plant production. Fertilizers, soil conditioners and substrates) for its Kynetic4, Bryosei and Superbrotal products. The company also has UNE 315500 certification (inputs to be used in organic plant production. Products for pest and disease management) for its Pirecris and BT32 biopesticides and Septum biofungicide.
These UNE standards are a tool of the Spanish Standardization and Certification Association whose purpose is to align certification of fertilizers and phytosanitary products in the organic production sector. The standards have been created to provide value for input manufacturers on agricultural markets and are also intended to provide additional guarantees and confidence for farmers using these products, as well as for end consumers.
Seipasa's Quality and Environment Manager, Puig Mora has highlighted the company's commitment to its customers by endowing its products with the maximum guarantees of quality.
Certifying our products under the UNE 142500 and UNE 315500 standards generates certainty and confidence in farmers since all of the products certified according to these standards are recognised by the different organic production certifying bodies. It is a "seal of approval" both for the manufacturers of inputs for organic production and also for producers and farmers", Puig Mora added.
Seipasa's Quality and Environment Manager explained that the company continues its work along these lines and expects to add to the number of Seipasa products certified under UNE standards very shortly.
